That Didn’t Take Long … Moving From WordPress.com to Self-hosted Blog

We had to move the blog from the wordpress.com site because this gives us more freedom to style and tweak the blog in a way that provides more options/services to our readers.  Plus it makes sense to have the organizational blog under the the umbrella of our organizational URL ( http://blog.exodusinternational.org )

That said, we are still working on the blog in several ways. One is developing a special page that will list all of our Member Agencies across North America.  We will also be tweaking the style of the blog to make it … prettier :) .  Also, I have noticed that the reply comments were acting quirky when replying to the imported ones (16 of them on two posts.)  I am not sure what is happening there … we will take a look at it.

However, it seems that brand new comments, and replies to those comments, on this new site will work just fine.  Please feel free to help me test this out by leaving a comment here :) .

I just checked out the opening vid. I like it mucho mas :)
It’s amazing that we can express the same faith through different denominations as long as we are worshipping the same God and believing the same words He has spoken to us through the scriptures. For me, there is an almost instant affinity for a stranger I meet who lives out these commitments. And I think it is interesting how you can sometimes listen to a person and know right away that they are espousing something different than the simple Gospel.

That's great! It's amazing to get more flexibility once you own your own domain.
