Dear Friends,
Had a couple of people text, message and email me worried about the safety of the Exodus staff. Rest assured, we are all personally safe. Many of us are traveling to Birmingham today for the Love Won Out conference. As you know we are headquartered here in Orlando but our office is actually several miles away.
The gunman, as of this initial post is on the run so who knows where that will lead but thank you for your concern. We are ok.
That said, we have several churches in that area and we have one friend who does actually work in the office building. We also have many friends who live all around that area so while the Exodus staff and our families are safe please pray for our friends and the churches in the area.
On another sad note: Please pray for Alan Medinger who is in critical condition with double pneumonia and other health problems.
It’s a very sad day here in Orlando and we covet your prayers for our friends and loved ones.

UPDATE: 2:30 pm – It appears they have caught the gunman and the number of those shot with 1 killed is far lower than initial reports.
