I still say today that I experienced God more at that Exodus Conference than many many years in the church. Even as a person who has never struggled with same sex attraction I can say that I experienced God's grace and forgiveness through that conference. That is why I went to another conference and helped a friend of mine lead a seminar on healthy male relationships. I could write for days about how Exodus helped me to better understand my own sin, lead me to repentance, and accept God's forgiveness. Probably one of the greatest insights I received was that the goal for those who struggle with SSA is not heterosexuality, but holiness. The same is true for me and the sins that I struggle with.
