What may it lead to, you wonder out loud? None of us can say, but it all needed to be said in a clear, Christian way.   You would think we'd need only to point others to Scripture, but fewer folks today who even profess to faith in Christ are intimately familiar with what the Bible says, sadly. One declaration, even one as well-put-together as this one, won't work the miracle that is already implicit in the words of our triune God, the prophets and the apostles. That's where we find the truth that sets us free and heals both individuals and nations. I have carefully read the entire document, and I think it is well-articulated, and as you say, most gracious in its tone. What may it lead to, you wonder out loud?
