Jesus Embodies 100% Grace and 100% Truth

Redcross

I read this comment by Alan, which he says all the time, and then went to my rss reader and found this post titled LOST, God, and the Justice/Grace Problem: We love a god of mercy, but fear a god of justice. Therefore, deny His justice and suddenly God loves us no matter what, and it doesn’t matter what we do. There is no justice to face. But is this a good god? Is a god who doesn’t right wrongs, who ignores evil and sweeps it under the rug, who tells you, “Hey, just learn to make your own kind of music–it’s all good,” is that a god worthy of our respect? Justice is real and … [Read more...]

Taiwan Seeks to Teach Elementary Students Gay Topics

taiwan

From The China Post: The Ministry of Education on March 7 announced that gay topics will find a place in elementary and secondary textbooks starting next year, reversing course after activists protested a memo last month from the ministry telling high schools to ban gay rights groups. The ministry's announcement is a welcome and positive move towards the development of a healthy, free and tolerant society. Simply installing the software by including gay topics in school syllabuses, however, is not enough. There are still many misunderstandings and unfair judgments on homosexuality in … [Read more...]

Karen Booth

Testimony originally posted on the Exodus website: ***Begin*** Transforming A Worldview By Rev. Karen Booth, Executive Director of Transforming Congregations* Since many folk involved in Exodus-related ministries have struggled with same-sex attraction, I have been asked many times if that is true of me. It isn’t. My desires and behaviors since my adolescent years have been consistently heterosexual. In the past, however, those desires and behaviors haven’t been pure; I’ve hurt myself and I’ve wounded others through sexual sin, and I praise God that He has forgiven and … [Read more...]
