Prayer Request for Love Won Out San Diego

Conference organizers amaze me.  All the details, logistics, care, hard work, preparation, crunch time, running the event itself… astounding.  How blessed are we that God has created wonderful souls who can do this type of ministry?  My respect for David Fountain, Leslie Chambers and Karen Eaglin is already deep but to watch them in action is a beautiful thing.

This Saturday is our Love Won Out (LWO) event in San Diego so it is crunch time in “pulling it all together.”  During our daily morning prayer time we spent extra time lifting up every aspect of Love Won Out to the Lord.  We want to ask you to do the same.  Of course pray as you feel led and here are some suggested topics:

Please pray for …

• the LWO team (Exodus Staff, Speakers, Volunteers) – Spiritual encouragement, inspiration and protection.
• Safe Travels
• The Parents who will be attending
• The Young Adults, Youth that will be there
• The People seeking personal answers on any level
• The Pastors and other pastoral leaders who will be attending
• The host church: Pastor Garlow and the congregation of Skyline
• All of the logistics from registration to catering … and beyond… Lots of logistics
• The gay activists or people who identify as gay who will be attending and/or protesting.  The gay affirming counter-conference, their leaders and their message.
• Favor with the media and local community
• For the bookstore (not so much sales, although high sales would be cool, but moreso that the attendees would find the answers they are looking for in the resources provided.)
• For the ministry exhibit area – a LOT of ministry and divine appointments occur around the exhibit booths.
• That the knowledge and testimonies presented would be delivered in compelling, edifying, loving, gracious and equipping ways.
• For a sense of freedom, grace and joy to infuse the event.
• The Lord to be glorified before, during and after the conference. In every aspect of the conference.

I could go on and on but I think this list is a great place for the prayerful to get started .

I will be “Live” blogging and posting pictures of the event itself here on the blog but activity will pick up on the LWO Facebook Page and Twitter account starting tomorrow, more frequently on Friday and throughout the day during the event on Saturday.
