I love working at Exodus. Especially this time of year in getting ready for the Exodus International Freedom Conference. The team really comes together and it is simply amazing to watch the myriad of plans, talents, vision, details and more … all come together so beautifully.
Stress? … just a bit.
But through it all we know that the end result will glorify the Lord and bring edification to His church. He instills an inner peace even as we run around like crazy getting everything ready!
This is the 35th Annual Exodus Freedom Conference. Exodus was formed after the first conference so you can say that Exodus, the organization, was birthed out of the first conference.
It goes without saying, that the annual conference is a very important part of our history and ongoing efforts.
This will be my 15th conference, my 9th one as a staff member. Each and every year I look forward to the fantastic worship times, meeting new people and fellowshipping with dear friends from all around North America and the world. Without fail, the speakers, workshop leaders and participants bless us with their wisdom, humor and to be frank … candor
.
The team is heading out to California tomorrow to prepare for pre-conference meetings, Exodus Leadership Conference, the actual Freedom Conference AND for the Love Won Out (LWO) conference that will be a perfect day to wrap up our time in California. Please be praying for the staff, leaders, speakers and attendees with regard to safe travels and of course the Lord’s will to be done
I will be blogging from the event with live Facebook updates on our Facebook page at http://facebook.com/exodusinternational so that those who aren’t able to go can check in and touch base.
Plus, it isn’t too late to come to the Freedom Conference and/or Love Won Out. Visit our conference website to learn more about registering and walk up registration for the Freedom Conference and visit the LWO website to register for Love Won Out. Note: if you register for the whole Freedom Conference it includes LWO. If you can’t make it to the Freedom Conference, Love Won Out is a great one day alternative.
Much love to you all and I look forward to seeing many of you in Irvine!

Wish I could make the 8+ hour drive down. Not to hold a “BOO Exodus!” sign in your face, but to talk with some of you in real life. So much is lost online.

I live about 7 hours north of Irvine in the S.F. Bay Area, so if Shawn Lord (or anyone else in this area) ever wants to meet someone to talk about the issues, check out my blog and send me an e-mail.
I’m looking forward to attending on Saturday. Unfortunately due to work requirements I could not get the other days off otherwise I’d be there every day, not just to hear the speakers but to meet others who know me through the bloggersphere.
I and my church will be praying that the Lord will sue this event to advance His Kingdom.
God Bless!
Erik
Eric, if the Lord sues this event, as you and your church are praying, then ADF will be of little value. Exodus will truly be sunk. (Couldn’t resist!)
OOPS!
Sorry Joe, one of most common typos is to write “sue” instead of “use”… another is to write “form” when I meant “from” AHHHHH! Spell checkers often don’t catch these sort of things. It was great to meet you at the conference and I am sure that the fruit that will be produced from it will plentiful.
